Notes: Nitrocat was kind enough to send me a couple of postcards when she took a trip to New Orleans. The most famous Mardi Gras celebration in the USA takes place in New Orleans, although clearly this photo wasn't taken during Mardi Gras. I somehow don't think a little rain would stop the drunken revelers from partying, do you?

Notes: What a happy Mardi Gras jester. This is another card that I received very recently. Again, don't get used to it. I still have a lot of old cards to get through.

You know, I don't think I've ever seen a postcard showing miserable, rainy weather before. Usually the skies are blue, the sun is out, and streets are full of activity. Definitely an unusual postcard! =)
