Notes: As the caption says, this card shows palaces and castles around Dresden.  You could read that, right? :)  Albrechtsburg sits above the Elbe River, and was built from a fortress that originated in the 10th century.  Königstein Fortress is also along the Elbe River, has over 50 buildings, and was used for centuries as a state prison.  Pillnitz Castle was the summer residence for the electors and kings of Saxony.  Moritzburg Castle sits on a symmetrical artificial island, and the surrounding lake and woods were favorite hunting grounds of the kings of Saxony.
