Day One Hundred Fifty-Nine

Poland PL-183220 received 04-23-2011

ID number: The caption on the back of the card is partially obscured by the stupid postal service bar code on the back of the card, but it says that the photo in the upper left corner is oscypek, a smoked cheese made of sheep's milk.  To me, though, it looks a lot more like pierogi than cheese.  But middle shows the main Market Square in Krakow and the tower of Cloth Hall. The gentleman playing the violin is a Goral, which means Highlander.  The Gorals are indigenous to southern Poland, northern Slovakia, and parts of the Czech Republic.  On the bottom row are the Łazienki Palace in Warsaw, the statue of Neptune in front of Artus Court in Gdańsk, and the Centennial Hall in Wrocław.
