Notes: This is a traditional bread oven at the Municipal Museum of Vila de Rei.  I'm not sure what the rooster in the upper right corner is for, though. Vila de Rei is a town of over 3,000 people in the exact center of Portugal.

Notes: This rather ornate altar is in the Capela de Nossa Senhora do Amparo (Chapel of Our Lady of Perpetual Help) in Mirandela, Portugal.  Mirandela is a city of about 15,000 in northeastern Portugal.  The first Sunday in August is the feast day for Our Lady of Perpetual Help.  She is the patron saint of the Bragança District, where Mirandela is located.
