Day Three Hundred Fifty-Eight

Michigan - Steamboat Suwanee, Greenfield Village, Dearborn

For: US to US Travelling Envelope Round Robin - Group 1
Notes: Greenfield Village is the largest outdoor museum complex in the United States.  The Village includes almost one hundred historical buildings, including Noah Webster's home, Henry Ford's birthplace and the Wright Brothers' home and bicycle shop.  This steamboat has been rebuilt and restored several times, but the two engines inside of it are from another steamboat of the same name that Thomas Edison used in the 1920s.

Michigan - Greetings from Hell

From: Goofy Girl
From: Oklahoma, USA
Notes: Just when I think this blog is going well, it goes to Hell.  Hell, Michigan, that is!  Hell is a small town in southern Michigan - so small that if it weren't for its unusual name, very few people would likely have heard of it.  Goofy Girl sent this card to me while she was traveling through Michigan. There is even a stamp (the rubber kind, not the postage kind) on the back that says "I've been thru Hell".  Glad you survived, GG!
