Notes: Braunschweig is a city of about 250,000 people located in central Germany.  The Gewandhaus is the former house of the draper's guild, and is now where kimtctc goes to work every day.  Altstadmarkt means "Old Town Market", and the Burgplatz is the castle square.  Post is the former home of the Oberpostdirektion Braunschweig.  In the bottom row, I believe that Michaelishof is a student dormitory, and Dom is the cathedral. The statue of Heinrich der Löwe is on top of a fountain in his honor, located in the Hagen Market, and finally Alte Waage u. St. Andreas is St. Andrew's Basilica.

Notes: These scenes are from Bavaria, Germany, and they are all related to King Ludwig II, who is pictured in the top center.  The upper left is probably his most famous creation, Neuschwanstein Castle.  The upper right is Linderhof Palace, the smallest of the three palaces built by Ludwig.  The lower left is Herrenchiemsee, a palace complex purchased by Ludwig.  I'm not sure where the fountain is located, but the castle on the lower right is Hohenschwangau, which was built by Ludwig's father, King Maximilian II.
