Notes: Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan, or simply Wat Arun, is a Buddhist temple in Bangkok, Thailand on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River.  The temple's name comes from the Hindu goddess Aruna, who is personified as radiations from the rising sun. The central prang , or Khmer-style tower, in the center is covered in colorful porcelain.   At the top is a seven-pronged trident known as the "Trident of Shiva", which is another Hindu reference.
