Missouri - Grenade Range, Fort Leonard Wood

For: US to US Traveling Envelope Round Robin - Group 40
Notes: When I was looking for the missing postcards mentioned in yesterday's post, I found an envelope with three postcards from this round robin.  I'm pretty sure this is the only postcard I have that has grenades as the subject.  This grenade range is at Fort Leonard Wood in central Missouri.  The caption on the back says that each soldier must throw two live grenades as part of their training.  FYI, Leonard Wood was in the U.S. Army from 1886 to 1921.  He achieved the rank of Major General, and was awarded the Medal of Honor.
