Jurassic and Triassic and Cretaceous World

Texas - Dinosaur World, Glen Rose

Sent by: Goofy Girl
From: Oklahoma, USA
Notes: There are three Dinosaur World parks in the United States, located in Plant City, Florida; Cave City, Kentucky; and Glen Rose, Texas.  Goofy Girl visited the park in Texas, and sent this card from there.  It opened in 2008, ten years after the original park in Florida.  Each park has over 150 life-sized dinosaur sculptures, made of polystyrene foam covered in fiberglass.  It's always interesting to see the colors used for the dinosaurs' skin, as we don't really know what their skin looked like.

I used to drive by the one in Florida all the time. You can see some of the dinosaurs along the highway. It's pretty cool to see! I had no idea there were other parks as well.
