Notes: Yes, this card does feature the flags from the Confederate States of America during the Civil War.  Yes, these flags are controversial.  I am not going to post any of my feelings about that, and I'd certainly appreciate if you don't either.  Thank you.

The flag on the left was the first flag of the Confederacy.  It was called "Stars and Bars", which makes sense, and it was used until May 1, 1863, when the second flag was adopted.  It is called the "Stainless Banner", and it was used until March 4, 1865.  The third national flag is actually the one second from the right.  It looks remarkably similar to the "Stainless Banner", but with the addition of the red stripe down the left.  This flag was only in use for just over a month, as the war ended on April 15, 1865.  The flag in the middle is actually a battle flag for the Army of Northern Virginia, and it is probably the one most associated with the Confederacy today.  The flag on the far right is the "Bonnie Blue Flag", which was unofficial, but quite popular.
