Not So Nautical

Canada - Kamloops Lake, British Columbia

For: North America Traveling Envelope Round Robin - Group 91: Anything Nautical
Notes: Kamloops Lake is located in southern British Columbia, several hundred miles from Vancouver.  It is part of the Thompson River, and is 18 miles (29 km) long and .99 miles (1.6 km) wide.  You can see in this photo that the lake shore has steep embankments, and the land surrounding it is mostly uninhabited.  It is a popular place for boating and other outdoor recreation. Doesn't look like much boating was going on the day this photo was taken though.
