Notes: The rings in the center of this photo are baranki, traditional Russian bread similar to bagels, but denser and chewier.  They are one of the bread products classified as bublik.  According to MarinaTo, baranki are not sweet and not soft.  They are typically dipped in coffee or tea before eating to soften them.  I believe the larger bread ring in the back is also a type of bublik, but one of the softer and sweeter variety.  I, however, would be more interested in the candy in the dishes in the front.
